According to the Center for Disease Control, more than 15 million Americans struggle with an alcohol use disorder. Unfortunately, less than eight percent receive treatment. Although it can seem impossible, treatment for alcohol abuse is possible with the right approach.
Considering the recent wave of legalization, marijuana use disorder has become much more rampant in the United States. At Spirit Mountain Recovery, we believe that marijuana addiction is just as dangerous as alcoholism or opioid dependence. That is why we put a heavy focus on educating our clients during the recovery process, including setting a foundation for relapse prevention.
Prescription Drug Addiction
Prescription drug addiction can often start from a doctor’s prescription or recommendation. Unfortunately, the addictive nature of these substances sometimes leads users down the wrong path. Treatment for prescription drug addiction is available at both our residential/inpatient house in Eden, UT, as well as our IOP/day treatment location in Roy, UT
Illicit Drugs (Heroin, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Hallucinogens)
There is an epidemic of illicit drug abuse in the United States, but thankfully, help is available. Our 2:1 client to staff ratio allows us to treat each client with a personalized approach. We are prepared to treat addictions from any substance, including the following illicit drugs:
Dual Diagnosis Disorders
Addiction doesn’t often exist by itself. Many of those who struggle with addiction have mental health disorders like anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorder and more. Unlike many other drug rehab centers in Utah, Spirit Mountain Recovery has a board-certified Psychiatric Physician that assesses each client when they come in for their initial psychiatric assessment. Your mental health is at the center of your individualized recovery plan and will be addressed alongside your addiction.
