Our Medical Doctor is also a Board-Certified Psychiatrist able to assess and diagnose Substance Use and Co-occurring Mental Health Disorders. Each of our clients are medically and psychiatrically assessed upon admission. He is also the chief determinate of whether an individual will need to be detoxed prior to being admitted. This is based on a multitude of factors including the type of drug being primarily used, the amount and frequency of use. Spirit Mountain Recovery has assisted in the tapering of individuals off prescribed medications but does not offer Medically Assisted Treatment.
